‹ Back School cooperation workshop in operation
As in previous years, on 17 and 24 January 2018, 8th year pupils of the Graf-Heinrich-Schule Hausach visited our company to produce a pencil stand, together with the cutting mechanics in the first year of training, as part of the cooperation project "Werkstatt im Betrieb" (Workshop in operation).
Prior to the project, the 8 pupils from Hausach, Gutach and Oberharmersbach received an operational tour as well as a presentation on the three training occupations at Grieshaber Precision. They also received a short instruction on the subject of occupational safety.
After a short briefing, the pupils were then allowed to mill, drill and bolt together the plates for the aluminium pencil stand independently, while under the supervision of the trainees on milling and boring machines. Independent works have aroused interest among the students and have set the course for career orientation for some of them.
However, not only did the students of GHS benefit from the cooperation, but also the apprentices, who gained experience in planning and managing further projects.
